Gyoubu Oniwa Boss Memory Fight Bug
I'm playing through Sekiro on PC and defeated "Gyoubu Oniwa" days ago. despite that, I kept being told I had "no memories" to offer to increase my attack power.
Note: I ahs been defeated "Lady Butterfly" in Normal Chapters Not Memories.
So Why "Gyoubu Oniwa" Memory Fight Reward has not ben accepted ?!

First, just a minor correction. The entire Harata Estate saga was depicting scenes from memories of 3 years ago. Once you used the bell and meditated, you had entered a realm of 3 years ago. I know it is confusing. Once a "memory" is awoken, you can use any of the Idols available to you to travel between "memories" and reality. Lady Butterfly, in the story only existed 3 years ago.
As to your problem with defeating Gyoubu, check your inventory. Go to Inventory, then Items. Scroll down and see if the remnant of Gyoubu is there or not. If it is, then you have already been awarded the AP, or rather, you have "claimed" it already.
And just to remind you, if you defeat Gyoubu in one of the Gauntlet challenge, you will NOT be rewarded with the "memory".
If you don't have the remnant of Gyoubu, and you have defeated him in the story campaign, then you will have to start a new game from scratch. But before you do that, do check the integrity of the local game files as it will replaced any corrupted game files. After you did this check, then start a new game.
Alternatively, if you are not going for the achievements, you can just carry on. Complete the story with any ending (there are 4 to choose from). Whatever you have missed in your first run, you can always get it in the NG+ games.
Hope this help. Good luck and have fun :)
