As for Sekiro, if you are not left handed then you should be ok. Apparently, the mapping seems not to be left-hand friendly according to one of my friend on Steam. The other minor point is that using a controller, apparently one can really do some fancy dodging whereas because the keyboard can only offer a multiple of 45 degree, the dodging directions are pretty limited. Otherwise, keyboard and mouse are pretty good. Oh, one more thing, due to the nature of the mechanics of the game, it is better to use wired connection or Sekiro will suffer frustrating death due to the lag of bluetooth connection. Or if you don't mind the heavy usage of battery, use 2.5 Ghz connection instead of bluetooth. I use a wireless mouse using the 2.5 Ghz connection and not bluetooth. I have suffered no lag. However, I do have to stock extra packs of AAA batteries. Hope this help. Good luck and have fun.
I even played Ds1, DS2, Ds3, Nioh 1 and 2 and more with m+kb. No big deal. You just need to fine a good setup thats suits you well. You dont really need prompts either. Its neat to have them but i dont mind if older games just dont support this and you only see gamepad icons.
Only game i ever was unable to play with m+kb, when i tried was Surge 2. The directional parry, which is a cool mechanic is almost impossile to do with m+kb.
Other games i just played with gamepad because they were more casual. Like some assassins creed games, the mordor games and stuff like that. Shadow of mordor also felt quit elaborate to set up for m+kb. So i didnt bother.
Play in whatever way feels good for you. But yes. Souls games usually play great with m+kb. Dont listen to the gamepad mafia.
It players very well easier to use than Dark souls remaster.
Any advice for key re-binding?
If you use controller, there is virtually an unlimited number of directions you can move Wolf, via the left analog stick. (To be more specific, you could say 360 different positions)
This has massive ramifications for things like Blocking/Parrying, where positioning yourself relative to the Boss, is a key determinant of success.
I've used both extensively and struggled with KBM for this game. I switched over to controller and never looked back.
