how 2 avoid the chip damage from reflecting genichiro's lightning? trying to flawless him and can't reliably avoid his lightning attacks as opposed to reflecting them

I never managed to do it when performing the steps : jump, then spam the Attack button.

is it so necessary? Ongbal (on yt) does many no damage fights with Ishin and other bosses, and even he needs to heal after reflecting a couple of lighting attacks, and nobody make fun of him or smth

also for dodging those attacks you need to dodge left or right in the last moment before attack hit you, i believe

You don't need to reflect lightning attack i.e. to jump and attack with sword. Just go to Genechiro face and smash him when he is jumping for lightning attack. As in the whole game, the best strategy here is to constantly get close to the enemy.

The way to avoid the chip damage is simple. When you jump up, hold the Block button at the same time. But I have to make it clear that this only work in the normal mode. In the difficult mode (without the Kuro's Charm), holding the Block button when jumping will still suffer chip damage.

Nr 1 I do because details makes difference same as using tanto and calling it no damage run lmao.


Nr 2 you can dodge it by step dogde into it at the right time,similar way you dashing through attacks in bloodborne.
