in ng+2. didn't wanna talk to him. i rushed monk, genichiro and then guardian ape. kuro wants me to talk to him to ask about severing the ties of immortality. but he is not in his watch tower. emma points me towards the position of his alter ego( i don't wanna spoil) but his alter ego is neither there nor at the other usual position. any ideas where he could be?

Talk to Tengu of Ashina in Ashina Outskirts where you fought Gyoubu Masataka Oniwa.
After that Isshin is at his location.

If you’ve done other stuff already he might be down by the serpent shrine idol behind Ashina Castle

Then im sadly out of ideas. Tengu of Ashina should be at either location.

The game seems to get a little buggy during new game plus. I had to stop my NG+ playthrough when I ran into this delightful showstopper with the Genichiro fight simply not triggering.

Damn thats bad.
I hadnt this kind of thing happen to me on NG+. But now i think i rather make a backup save file just in case.
