I was asking for confirmation.
I need to Google how you get there.
Here are the instructions:
Choose to continue to serve Kuro and defeat The Owl.
Exhaust all eavesdrop opportunities on Kuro from behind a corner in his room (multiple rests are required).
Rest then talk and agree with Emma about Kuro.
Rest, speak to Emma again and then travel to the Old Grave Idol. Talk to Emma left of the grave then travel to Dilapidated Temple.
Eavesdrop on Emma and Sculptor from behind the temple. Talk to Emma to receive Father's Bell Charm and use it at the Buddha statue.
Go to the Lady Butterfly boss room and defeat Owl (Father) to obtain Aromatic Flower.
Beat the final boss, talk to Kuro, and choose to give him the Divine Dragon's Tears and Aromatic Flower.
That's also how to get another ending
Not to the ending yet, but from what I understand, both of the extra ending quests (purification and return) ultimately just give you an extra item.
At the very end, you can choose to use neither of these items (immortal severance), or you can choose to use one or the other of these items (purification and return). None of the quests lock you out from the other quests, and you can wait until after beating the final boss to make your final decision. If you've finished both quests, any of those three endings is achievable.
