for real easiest boss in sekiro
Did you really have to link a video of a Souls speedrunner with thousands of hours put into every game as an example to a beginner?
Honestly, in phases 1 and 2, I die more to accidentally jumping off the effing bridge than all other causes combined...
To me the last phase was the easiest because when she vomits it's easy to avoid and it leaves her wide open
I had a bit of trouble on the last phase, though not a ton. Mainly the tempo of the fight changed and I had to adjust a bit; there were also fewer ichimonji opportunities. I also wasted several of the openings when she vomits because I'd jump instead of dodge.
1. Wherever possible (which is almost everything, apart from the ones that only use range or grab attacks) always kill by deflecting or countering and then using a deathblow, never attack directly unless they don't do things that can be deflected or mikiri countered.
2. Don't spam or hold down buttons. One quick button tap per enemy attack to deflect / mikiri counter.
Mibu is nice because there's a vast number of enemies that can be posture broken with one deflection or counter, and the various enemies have different attack timings, so it forces you to learn to deal with everything from very quick attacks to attacks with long windup which might trick you to deflect too soon.
You'll also get a lot of skill points and sen which can be used for upgrades, so the time spent there pays off in several ways.
