What if you could switch skills mid-combat?

Wouldn’t this game be tons better if you could toggle between 2-3 active skills using the down button on the D-pad? Like bosses can. That would be an awesome mod!

By active skills do you mean combat arts? You can switch them mid combat. It just needs a few more buttons to be pressed. In case you did not notice, the game pauses when you open your inventory/equipment screen. Just do that, and switch whatever you want. It might get you out of the flow of combat a bit, but it is clearly possible. With some practice you can even do it pretty fast, so as to not interrupt the combat as much.

I know you can pause but I want it more like Nioh where you can do several skills/combat arts in the same fight without interrupting the flow. I’m particular High Monk is only useful with sweeps & Ashina Cross is universally applicable
