How do you use Spiral Cloud Passage?
I've been experiment with different combat arts for fun. Trying to combine them with different prosthetic and trying them on different bosses.

I'm struggling to find a purpose for this combat art in my arsenal. I think it's fun and flexible but doesn't hit hard enough to stagger enemies. Also the "shock waves" it creates do not apply whatever affects I have on my blade.

Curious as to how you folks use it.

Spiral Cloud Passage? Do you mean Sakura Dance or Floating Passage?
Sakura Dance is very effective when facing lightning attacks and it only costs 1 spirit emblem to use. Combining it with bestowal ninjutsu, it can be overpowering indeed. And the best thing is that no one can interrupt a sakura dance!
Floating Passage is the upgrade version of whirlwind slash. However, it takes slightly longer to be activated. And when you do activate it, the number of hits can really "chew" up the opponent, especially their posture. But remember, you have to time it well to make it effective especially against the main bosses. Hope this help. Have fun and good luck.

Spiral Cloud Passage is the upgraded version of Floating Passage. You can acquire it from the Mushin Arts skill tree.

Thank you for the advice.

My apologies. Yes, now I remember. Same as before, if you use spiral cloud passage together with Bestowal Ninjutsu, And I forgot about the confetti. A confetti and Yasariku sugar, plus Bestowal Ninjutsu, you can take out the 1st live of guardian ape within seconds in a vanilla game. But it will be costly as Bestowal Ninjutsu costs 7 emblems. Spiral cloud passage costs 3. This gives you TWO hits with a full load of spirit emblems.

That I did not know. Very good idea. Thank you.

The thing about SPC is that it consists of 9 attacks and several wind slashes. The attacks themselves are weaker than regular attackls but are so fast that it will outdamage regular attacks.
On top of that it can force most enemies to block while doing chip damage through their guard.
However the best way to use it is to utilise the attacks speed by buffing your weapon with Bestowal Ninjutsu or the Living Force from Flame Vent as these do flat damage regardless of the damage of your sword attack unlike confetti which gives a percentage bonus.
Additionally if you use it with living force it can set enemies on fire mid-combo which stuns them and makes them take full damage from the rest of the combo.

Thanks for the advice. Great idea. Totally going to try this.
