seems like they're going with a skill based tree..I prefer leveling and allocating stats, upgrading weapons, etc but we'll have to see how it pans out.
^ what he said, so stop complaining and play something else.
Tenchu was nothing like dark souls :), they also made many other games that wasnt like dark souls :)
your basicly saying that blizzard is only allowed to only make diablo and warcraft games, :)
let them try something new ;) you will love it nonetheless, but hate it if you go in expecting it to be a souls clone
I never played Demon Souls, Dark Souls or Bloodborne but i did pre-order Sekiro. probably this game will open me the doors for the other games FromSoftware but you need to stop complaining Sekiro to the other titles from this company when they already stated that they are doing something different, plus because it's different doesn't mean it will be bad.
I'm all for them trying something new, hence my earlier comment of "but we'll have to see how it pans out." I trust them, and I'm sure they'll make a good game, I'm just apprehensive on the progression system.
this game has more progression than any souls game come before it :), hence, progression is tied to a skill tree that lets you do TON of abilities with 1 weapon instead of going 1 build and only having 2 buttons and then blocking the rest of the time :)
and yes you had multiple weapons to choose from and you had multiple armor sets, but in the end you had a build in mind and you used that throughout the entire game :) most armors were never used anyway, only for fashion, :) everythign you find in this game is way more rewarding because it is needed to overcome stronger foes :)
