You don't. It's one of the first abilities, I believe in the samurai tree.
Can't wait though, I haven't even seen what the other two trees entail. ENB showed us all of the first skill tree at least what there was in the demo so far, and some of them sound good. Even the passives sound good like being able to have more spirit emblems. I wonder if they're worth it though like in Bloodborne where you get a rune for more bullets and it gives you one or two or three more max. Miyazaki loves his trolls.
that's what i believe tho
So for me it's #1 Combat, #2 Prosthetic and grab a few good Stealth skills.
though there are even more skill tree's than just three as their is apparently a monk skill tree, so depending on whats on that things may change
The opening skills aren't all that costly. Wouldn't surprise me if you could fill up all trees as you go to relative effect.
The Ashina arts that increase your posture damage seem pretty key. Then some of the passives like counters and Shuriken chaser are probably gonna improve your combat.
It seems like there's two Shinobi skills that affect stealth, one for vision and one for hearing. They're not that costly. It's not like you are picking a speciality in this game I don't think. It's more like prioritizing which you get first.
