Auto target / Lock on
Can someone explain Auto Lock on and Auto Target. They are both set to ON in my setting. Is this correct or do I turn one or the other OFF.

If I remember correctly, Auto Lock will automatically lock you onto targets you attack, and Auto Target will automatically switch targets after one is defeated or out of range.

I always have Auto Lock off, and Auto Target on.

I'll try that, I just died in battle cause I could not break the lock to use the grapple to escape.

Thank you, I think that fixed half my problems in-game.

Also i recommend using mod called Sekiro FPS unlocker,
it has an option called "disable camera reset on lock on" its another annoying thing when you are attempting to get a lock on an enemy and if you cant camera jumps around, helped me a lot

i also use autoloot option cos hodling a button just to loot seems pointless to me, do not use any "cheat" category options if you do not want to ruin the your experience (the tool warns you with journalist mode etc)

also i found the FOV control very handy for some bosses where camera is your main enemy...

I have to ask one more question. are these setting based on using a controller or KB/M. I can't use the controller due to a unrelated problem. Some games require you to use a controller over a KB / M. will the KB work just as well?

its useful regardless of controller or not
i personally use switch pro controller with PC but it does not matter some mods will improve your experience with the game, i regret not knowing about them until midgame )

Sekiro FPS Unlocker & More is fantastic. It has settings specific to mouse users as well, which are said to be major improvements, though I don't know from personal experience as I use a controller.

Seems once I set the auto target to on and the other off. I have control over the little 1 arm guy. Before he run around like he had a mind of his own. I'm staying in one area till I'm ready for more.

1 more thing, where is my skill tree? I have 2 points and nowhere to put them.

I looked, I'll go again

unless I'm playing with my eyes close, I don't see them
Neither these options work for me. Nothing targets automatically. I can only press the Target button manually, each time, for each enemy. WTF? Any fixes?

I found the target lock I have to hit on/off if there is more the 1 target or I end up having to back away before I can run away. It seems to work better that way for me.
