How should I obtain the Shura ending?

Hey all, I'm doing another playthrough of sekiro and I was wondering, could I also get the Shura ending along with the other two? before deciding whether or not to stay loyal to owl, can't I just backup the save, stay loyal to Owl, then reload the save file so I have the Shura ending done?

No, there are bosses after staying loyal to owl that you have to complete to actually get the shura ending.

If you savescum, will you still get the skins and other features they added to update the game?

No idea, probably not because your saves won't be stacked with all the data needed to unlock them.

no you cannot. for the shura skin, you need to beat the shura gauntlet of strength which is unlocked after beating the game at least once with the shura ending and also defeating both Owl (father) boss and demon of hatred boss. Both bosses are only available after choosing to stay loyal to kuro. Therefore as you need to be at least in ng+ to unlock the shura skin. The other skins are also locked behind gauntlets of strength that are also locked behind specific endings.
