Game is overrated

There's just no denying it, it has no replayability, it has no dlc, it has no fashion or cosmetic items, no coop or pvp.. your first playthrough is the exact same as your 50th because nothing changes.

Boring game that i couldn't even be bothered to finish, think i died maybe 5 times in the full game :/ coming from Souls this game just left so much to be desired.

PS. Don't day that using things like firecrackers or the spear make for 'build' variety, you are a clown if you think that those gimmicky little things actually change anything.

You can play every fight exactly the same, that is bad game design. You don't care whatever your opponent does as long as you press L2 your little baby katana can block it apparently.. it's obscene and so very easy, but oh well i guess you are one of those people that thinks souls is too hard so you play this and feel good about yourself. Fair play i guess

What is your point? Just rate it how you would rate it. I am not saying your points are wrong, but the ratings it received do not just reflect your experience with it, but the experience of others as well. Some people have a lot of fun in this game and rate it accordingly despite the points you made. Maybe those points are just not as important to everyone as they are to you.
Apparently the people who care less than you about the points you made have more influence over the ratings, maybe there are more of them?

None of the points you made actually invalidates the ratings of this game. So in conclusion you have not shown the game to be overrated, you just told us why you personally did not like it.

Lmao. So multiplayer, dlc and fashion items determine games value? It sounds like u were gonna add microtransactions and lootboxes too. Sad :smh:
Not only does game offer replayability in terms of different endings, leveling skills, finding new secrets, upgrading prostetics, playing charmless, doing the opposite quest lines but you fail to mention it's clean and setisfying combat, level and game design and instead ♥♥♥♥ on the things majority of player couldnt care less.
I suppouse u mostly play cod and fifa in your spear time and call games like witcher and rdr2 boring cuz it has great characters and story instead of cosmetics and team deathmatch. Lol. I feel sorry for you.

Somehow I don't think you got very far in this game, maybe barley past the first General. All bosses can be beat without the use of tools, but to claim they are useless just shows your lack of knowledge of the game mechanics. Most of the tools have a use at various stages in the game, I say most because admittedly some I never used, but shurrikens, firecrackers, the spear, "the grapple", the umbrella, were critical in many instances. Some do not appreciate this game and for many such as myself, played just about every big title since 1985, THIS GAME IS A MASTERPIECE.

I definitely wasn't a fan either, but the content and replayability can't be denied after you finish the game, it's very solid all around even if you don't care for the main combat style. I 100%'d except for the long gauntlet.

you know what boss after all the games i have played your statement just proves beauty is in the eyes of the beholder because a master piece is the last explanation i would give to this game.

i think the game is perfect, however i kinda agree that lacking rpg elements, an arsenal of weapons, fashion items, enemy variety that we see in souls games isn't here and it is sort of useless to play more. i have 1600+ hours on dks3 and 600+ hours on dks2, i don't see why i should play sekiro after 120 hours in total.

however even 120 hours is great for a single player 60$ game, so i can't really complain

If you bothered to spend 10 seconds you would see i have finished the game, took me around 31 hours, pretty bad considering i have hundreds and hundreds of hours in dark souls 1-3.

It is overrated for me in the sense that there is no point in ever playing this game again once i have finished it, nothing i can do different just the same boss fights in the same order with slightly more hp.. Sure you can argue gauntlets but those were gimmicky things that were only recently added.
