I want to buy this game but i have an question
Greetings everyone,

Sekiro was a game I always wanted to play but like all soulsgames we know they will add Dlcs later on, once the game is released. So I waited for a game of the year edition to buy the whole package.

My question is , is it worth to buy the game of the year edition for this price ?

The main reason which holds me back is, that i am not sure how much content the whole package has.

The game is completed. This game never got any dlc, only a free content patch with an online message system and a boss rush modus.
You can buy at any time now, doesnt matter besides sales ofcourse.

I don't think we are getting any DLC. They did 1 free update where they added boss rush mode, some skins and like 1 new skill and that's that.

No news of DLC coming in the future, if ever. It seems they fully commited to their next big game and Sekiro was just an experimental side-project.
So yeah, go ahead and buy GOTY edition and that should suffice, unless From will just magically decide to do DLC for no apparent reason.

sekiro is NOT getting any dlc when you buy the game you get everything

Ah ok thanks do you guys know where i can get the standard copy ? I hope some sites still sell the normal version.

I mean why would you want a normal version? The GOTY version IS the "normal" version, just with GOTY slapped on it ever since they won the nomination.

Release version was the base game with a free update after release which included:
- Reflection and Gauntlet of Strength - new boss challenge modes
- Remnants - leave messages and recordings of your actions that other players can view and rate
- 3 unlockable cosmetic skins

GOTY is the base game including the free update:
- Reflection and Gauntlet of Strength - new boss challenge modes
- Remnants - leave messages and recordings of your actions that other players can view and rate
- 3 unlockable cosmetic skins
