Injured man in Hirata Estates
There is a scene in Hirata Estates in which I first eavesdrop to hear two bad guys demanding that someone opens the door and they can hear them. Then I eavesdrop again and I hear what sounds like a man that is injured and a woman telling him to chill out and let his wounds heal. They are inside the house. Is there a point to this? Am I supposed to get into the house and talk to them or save them or something? Or do I just go on with my bad self and leave them there to die?

Hmmm, thanks for answering. I appreciate it. But I don't think that guy can be the sculptor because the sculptor is back at the dilapidated temple afflicted with dragon rot right now.

The Hirata Estate is three years in the past, so the Sculptor’s position in the temple wouldn’t matter. However, I also don’t think the man is the Sculptor. Those window conversations are just to give you narrative info on what has happened at the estate.

The memory is about the abduction of Lord Kuro by Owl in commission of Lord Genichiro, staging as a bandit attack on Hirata Estate.

The sculptor can not be Shura at the time the events at the Hirata Estate happened. Shura ravaged these parts of the land ("Down the Dragonspring River"), since the Hirata Estate lays at the Dragonspring River, there should be indications of such an event, but there is none.

I bet even the 'old' lady (before Lady Butterfly) was a mere child when the Shura incident took place.

Shura has been for years, maybe decades at the Dilapidated Temple, carving Buddas.

I was under the impression it was Sekiro himself, you could eavesdrop on. They sound alike.
