How to use Shinobi Esoteric Text?

So I got this item in my inventory and I know it is supposed to unlock a skill tree of some sort. I tried to look it up on the internet, but for most people it was just "activated" when unlocking new skills at the statue. Any tips?

when you sit down at a statue there will be a new tab called "Learn skill" or something like that, click on it and it should bring you too the skill tree

If you don't see it under acquire skills at the statue then it's already available. It could be a LB+RB move you have to equip.
