Do I need to rebuy Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice to get the Game of the Year?

I bought Sekiro: Shadow Die Twice before the Game of the Year edition existed. I saw now they released such a version but with no option to upgrade from the standard version. I want to upgrade to it but I see no way to do so. Do I need to delete the game from my account and rebuy it to get the Game of the Year Edition?

There’s no difference between them, I think they just renamed and edited the original store page entry after it got GotY.

No, it was a free update that added a few things such as player messages, Reflections of Strength (fight any boss fight you've already beaten), Gauntlets of Strength (run a gauntlet of bosses to unlock a reward), 1 new combat art (reward for beating one of the Gauntlets) and 3 new skins for Wolf (1 is a reward for beating the game, the other two are rewards for beating their Gauntlet).

Tl;dr: the stuff added for the GotY thing were added for free as a patch, there's no need to buy a new anything.

You don't need to rebuy it twice. In fact, you don't even have to rebuy it once because it's a free update.
