As you seem to have gone for her first, you will have a huge disappointment with the following bosses untill the mid game or past midgame :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

I think this game is way easier than DS. I mean the areas are way easier, you can just sneak everywhere and one shot enemies. Bosses is another story, I've only defeated a few since I only started Sekiro two days ago but so far only Genichiro and Ape gave me a bit more trouble. Area wise, this game is way easier, boss wise not sure yet.

Edit: wow time flies, I didn't start two days ago, I started on the 28th

To me sekiro is way too easy after the first playthrough compared to souls. I literally didnt die once until i got to Ishiin sword saint and only died 4 times lol

Bosswise it dont seen that easy because you are sneaking through enemies and going right for bosses.
Had you practiced with normal enemies before bosses would seem much easier.
The final boss was 2 tries for me, 1 try with deflect only where I got through 2 stages and died out of rage after the boss decided for the 7th or 8th time to run away untill he fully recover posture then I gone full dodge and attack and it was a 5min fight, because the final boss is just the culmination of most enemies and weapons in 1 single character, like a final test.

Well, I sneaked a lot and still managed to kill the bosses fine, only problem to me so far is knowing if I should just dodge, jump or parry, but I quickly figure it out.

Some may be, but I would say just up to the middle of the game bosses are more like push-overs.

I can`t comment if it's easier or not than Dark Sous because both games are VERY different, I`ll say that Lady Butterfly is like Genichiro, her difficulty depends on when you fight her.

Dark soul = roll attack roll attack u can farm to lvl up and make things so easy

Sekiro= parry doge jump and u cant lvl up then beat a boss easy all what u get from beating a boss a bit of dmg boost and u wont feel it dose something only after 70+

To be fair, Chained Ogre is a mini-boss.
Bosses give Memories, Mini-bosses give Prayer Beads.

Sekiro's bosses are harder than Souls but the core gameplay is easier IMO. The Stealth Deathblow mechanic can be very effective especially when orchestrated against a number of enemies in an area. Most enemies in the game don't pose too much of a threat especially once you know their moves, where and how many there are. The grapple hook can also get you comfortably out of any sticky situation and the slick mechanics enable you to stroll through areas or also get out of trouble.

Dark Souls has more a variety of enemies and some can be quite tricky especially with the clunkier controls. The bosses in that series are probably a bit easier especially in the first as you can cheese many and see their limited move and attack patterns. Sekiro is more rhythmic, timing-crucial and whittling down enemy health and be more strenuous. One mistake can also be fatal and hard to recover form whereas one slip in Dark Souls and you can recover and compose yourself far more easily.

They are actually two very different games. Lady Butterfly did give me some trouble early on but once I came back, studied her moves closer and then made use of my tool, it was quite routine. It does get significantly harder and I also found with Sekiro that it was easier to become more demoralised after getting killed a few times.

Sekiro "can be completely different" while it "can also be exactly the same" as Dark Souls without stamina, it just depend on what "tools" you decide to use and for what purposes.
Sekiro also have iframes like Dark Souls, it just is as lenient as parry at Dark Souls but you can perform dash through attacks at Sekiro like you do roll through attacks at any DS.
Dash and attack or Dash and monk skills . . . or Monk skills only can be used if you dont want Sekiro to be a rhythm game.

The difficulty of enemies and bosses at Sekiro, much like at Dark Souls, is not only about timing or player skill but about how you are taking each challenge the game provides.
Pontiff on my first run blind and solo can be a 5min fight first try like it was for me (and DS3 was my first souls game) while for others it is one of the hardest bosses or the hasdest boss in the game, while Midir can be a complete pain in the a** even after finishing the game 9 times (like it is for me) while for others Midir could very much be first try on their first run.
