Hi people! I am afraid of using any consumables because i do not know the mechanic around them. If i use a sugar in a fight and die it is lost forever, that is clear. You can only have an exact amount of one consumable (3-5 usually). If a gather a sugar for example but my inventory is full of that means the one that i newly found is disappears forever?
Or if i gathered more than i can have (3/3) it stacks and if i use one the next time it will fill up (just like spirit emblems)?
So if i have 3 goku sugar and i find another one should i gather it or save it for the time i used one of i already have?

You can only carry a limited amount of consumables. But you can store an infinite amount in the statues and every one that does not fit in your inventory goes to the statues.

Most consumables other than the healing pills are fairly useless in my oppinion. Use them as your leasure. If you run out you are not missing anything.

Only exception is the confetti which is both powerful and hard to get your hands on. Save them for undead enemies like the headless or the Shishimen.

Thanks man! So the game will refill your inventory after a rest if i am not mistaken. Is there a way to see how many things you have in the statue?

You can see the total amount in your inventory next to your held amount.

whos shishimen ? and where i can find him ?

there are several of them. they drop various useful items, such as ceremonial knife. you can look it up on youtube for location info
