have you ever felt like you can't play some modern games anymore because most of them have bad combat, after playing FROM games? a lot of my friends said that they can't play a lot of AAA games anymore because FROM games are so good it made them realize those AAA games are boring and mediocre.

is AAA gaming mostly bad? crappy? most AAA games play like this:

watch a cutscene
listen to a dialogue about what boring thing you should do next
run around for a while
collect some items
fight 5-6 enemies that takes 2-3 minutes
access to a new area
rinse & repeat

but FROM makes awesome combat, so it is non-stop action. surely there are cutscenes and dialogues but those are rare, and only happen after a big event, and doesn't last long. you feel like you are playing a game, instead of reading an interactive novel! i am talking about games like Witcher 3, tomb raider etc

Definitely among the best in the business. I'm not sure about being the best exactly. Devolver Digital has a lot of good games that have difficult but good gameplay. Lucas Pope made Return of the Obra Dinn (A way underrated game for having "no gameplay" despite being one of the only murder mystery games that doesn't railroad you to answers.) For Honor was the once in a lifetime AAA game that had a good combat system, but unfortunately began dying a while ago. But I do agree, FromSoft is among the rare few developers that are good.

I think Devolver Digital is trying too hard to make themselves a name in the industry! I played their game called Enter The Gungeon or something like that. It was very difficult and boring.

oh, please. devolvers catalogue filthy with wealth (...katana zero).

Here [devolverdigital.com]

enter the gungeon is clinical, so i can how you would see it as boring. im about 2 hours in to sekiro and i gotta say it has a lot of promise! it makes me interested to see more of FM's games. CDPR is a name that's gotta get tossed in here though! i saw someone mentioned witcher series.

I don't play much games now. To be honest, Sekiro is the only game (with the exception of the Mortal Shell demo) in the last 1.5 years. And any game from the bitcher series is pretty dull and overhiped(especially the 2nd and 3rd). These are just different poles of game-development - a casual visual novel(bitcher) and built around gameplay mechanics skill based action (any ds/bb/sekiro).

In bloodborne you just spam your gun to get a cheap reposte from range, its hardly skill based.. everybody knows this and its the reason bloodborne doesnt have a proper pvp community even though its definitely possible..
