Sakura Bull of the Palace Glitched Out

every time i try dropping behind it to use the firecrackers and scare, it runs around for a second before freezing in place, and it doesn't move until i hit it or walk right in front of it, both of which trigger the fight. i tried reloading the area, quitting the game, but it keeps happening. does anyone know what to do about this. thank you

From what I've read it's a known bug.

"This boss can be defeated instantly by using firecrackers to startle him while he is unaware. However, there is a bug that causes him to freeze in place when you remain undetected after he has gone into panic mode. To prevent this, deal any damage to him while he is panicking, and he will run into the wall, instantly becoming stunned and vulnerable to a deathblow."

This always happen to me, he gets frozen in the wall and attack you like if nothing happened if you hit him
