Is there a known bug about prayer beads?

I've backtracked many times, I've finished my NG+ going through every inch of the map and I still couldn't get the last one. I've looked up guides and sure enough I've already gone through all of the areas mentioned, killed the minibosses and bosses, one by one. I've even looked at the offering box after I defeated Isshin, and it's still empty as usual .

Is there a chance where a miniboss would not drop the prayer bead at all due to a bug?

Yes, and other guides I've looked up.

Never heard of it. Most likely you just missed one of the hidden once.

No other way then go to all locations again 😁

I'm on my way to my 2nd NG+ run now after I defeat Demon of Hatred and this will be the third time I will be checking all those listed areas, bosses and minibosses again. If stil' I won't get it on my third playthrough, then I don't know anymore.

Just make sure you look after every mini boss that you see the pop up.

Its not like you need to pick them up after a miniboss.

Thanks, I hope so too. I found the sakura bull on my first playthrough. At this point it isn't even the difficult bosses that frustrate me in the game in the end, but instead, it's a piece of bead I can't find. F*ckin hell

I had this with a titanite slab in DS3.
I was reading the wiki text over and over and said "damn i have all" yet i was missing a upgraded weapon.

Only in a playthrough i watched on yt i saw a text in the wiki was describing a different location then i had in my memory or than i thought 😁

No. You probably missed one. I faced the same trouble. Then I backtracked every 40 prayer bead 1 by 1 and finally got the one that I was missing.

I bet you miss that in ashina depths after Snake Eyes Shirahagi at the statues head I get it in my third run and somehow in my language websites were wrongly showing in strange way. Would be funny if u miss that one.
