Demon Bell effects

I know it increases drop rate if you rang it at the cost of higher difficulty by readjusting posture, damage, and in some cases health pools of enemies
BUT
Does it increase the amount of exp you get as well? or just sen and item drop rates?

Nevermind, it would seem Exp isn't affected. I confirm this because the other day I found out that the double sided sword ronin monk thing gives you 186 exp, similar to the amount you get for killing the big heavy monks. (all of this is in Senpou Temple grounds)

I found that you can rest at the top temple sculptor and run around the back to stealth kill the ronin spinny monk thing for 186 exp. At the time I had the demon bell effect.
I did this 6 times. I can also confirm that all 6 dropped Scrap iron and Gokan's sugar (posture candy) which makes this the quickest possible scrap iron farm I know, sitting at 1 Gokan's sugar and scrap iron per 20-30 seconds.
I can confirm that scrap iron does not drop without demon bell's effects. (only killed him twice this time though.) same exp.
The answer is no it doesn't.

You get experience for looting items. You use the Bell, you get more items.
