Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice

People say Chained Ogre filters the most players out.
But the boss that filtered the most people in this game was definitely the price tag.

same. i can never justify spending over $20 on a game, especially one that's been out for awhile. thankfully there's another option that shan't be named

Eh, its understandable for me.

I dont mind that option much, though. Not like devs are gonna lose sleep over it, but i'd rather not.

At most, i use those not so ethical methods when i simply want to try out the game, or it is no longer for sale
I don't get what your topic is about. But if this is like what boss is a nuissance that made me wanna quit, mine was probably Ape and Demon.
Tbh i thought his fight was a great test for new players, his moves are noticeable so its easy to bait him. Firecrackers also helps
I died a lot trying to kill the Ogre ( I don't keep a log ). I'm presently killing and resting and killing and resting. Saving up xp? in order to purchase more skills and build up my skill tree. Then I should be able to kill some bosses to acquire seeds and beads.

Go for the young son and his mother and get their bell. Ask the sculptor about it.

I would think the lack of multiplayer and build variety, as well as potential xenophobic tendencies towards Japanese mythology and culture would prevent Souls players from buying the game before the price would.
literally just walk in circle

Xenophobia? I'd rather have Sengoku Jidai than...obtuse Souls crap. Bloodborne is at least creative, Souls have a tendency to just be obtuse for obtuse sake.

Though build variety, that's a good complaint.

So what you’re saying is, that you’re not a big fan of Berserk?
The only good thing to come from achievements, in my opinion, is the fact you can see stuff like this. Like by the time I got to the end of Dark Souls 3 the vast majority of players had already given up, hell I think something like 10% of gamers didn't get past the tutorial boss.

In Sekiro 8% of people who bought the game didn't even get to the point of getting the prosthetic arm. 50% of people gave up after what I assume is the third real boss (Genichiro Ashina) at least going by the achievement completion %.

Like with Dark Souls the people on the forum and reddit saying git gud and actively participating in the community and talking about the game, new game+, etc are definitely the vocal minority. Which is fine, probably better in fact.

I'm waiting for this game to go on for 33%- 50% discount but I dont think I'll be able to wait.

Never read it. What I meant is that I don't like setups like Dark Souls where everything is literally anything. Ok, at least they're serious and dark, could've been worse(see: Divinity Original Sin 1 - now, that's annoying). Nioh, Sekiro, Fallen Order etc all feature direct story, well established characters etc.

Though it is sometimes nice to write your own story. It's just you and the world, imagine everything else. I still prefer well defined, but it's good to sometimes let loose like that.

But it was literally on such a sale over the Christmas. I believe it was 35$, so that makes it...40% discount.

I got it pretty soon after release and got my money worth. 260 hours 😁
You should not wait. I dont think it will be on sale to soon again after xmas sale.

Its interesting, i also only look for achievements to check those things you mention. I'm not there for the achievements. If an achievement doesnt sound fun and tedious i'm likely not go for it. But to see only 30% finish isshin is interesting.

Well, that makes 2 of us, but it is me at Dark Souls 3 with 438 hours and some 8 or 9 times I`ve finished the game (or just wandered around fighting PvP or helping others.

chained ogre is the only boss who don't have a sword or weapon. If what you say is even close to truth then I have only one thing to say, this game isn't for whoopsies. The price is fine. This is the only game that I paid full price for.

Having a sword or weapon doesn't matter... By that logic, the dual monkey wouldnt be more difficult than the average boss in this game.
