Games were made ♥♥♥♥ and overly difficult/nonsensical back then because they were transitioning from arcades, where it was all about score-chasing reflex-based SHMUPS and consuming as much small change as possible.
Your old timey games weren't even that hard by the standards of many games today, the actual limiter on them was your cash supply for arcades, and your parents' tolerance for spending hours memorising levels.
Once the headless dies the brown ape vanishes.
I never could figure out how to pull out the centipede. Gave up trying that and took the time when it was down to just do an Ichimonji art. Think I read somewhere you have to activate the spear twice to do so? I was only hitting it once.
In some ways I agree, it is a total departure from what you're used to by this point in the game. At the same time I can find something to admire in the game throwing you a curve ball and making you adapt to a new combat situation focusing more on deflecting punches and kicks instead of sword combat. It's a nice twist pushing you a little harder, trying to make you a better fighter.
Yeah, there's a cognitive dissonance for you. Was just thinking of that. It's completely primal and wild, yet...that don't fit Sekiro at all.
When you go from something like Geni to Ape is like...derp.
It dont make less sense than onikage or the bull. With only human enemies it would be boring imo.
Of course you do. You would never admit you were wrong or ignorant or anything. You are a badass genius who is never wrong.
Damn, lol. Being able to beat a boss apparently makes it good or sufficient boss design. Cool, i'll continue hoping you won't ever be hired by From
