Giving Sakura Droplet to Kuro does nothing?
Apparently I should have an additional resurrect, but I still only seem to have one revive per rest. I don't understand?

You have 3 after giving it to Kuro. One per rest, two that recharge with kills etc.

you get three total revives after giving the droplet, as signified by three markers above your lifebar.

One is replenished every rest.

Two must be recharged by defeating enemies.

After using a revive, you cannot revive again until you either rest, defeat a number of basic foes, or deathblow a miniboss-or-better enemy.

Not sure if Jizo statues or dragonblood droplets let you circumvent that limitation.

Thank you! I was so confused why I could only res once but it makes sense now.

Using a bite down to die(or hidden tooth)removes the need to do this after you resurrect.

Extra revive is only useless in boss fights because you already have 2 but with strategic use of bite down it gives an extra revive anyway.

Bite down does not give you extra revives. It just doesn't prevent resurrections after death which would usually happen after the enemy killed you, but in NG+3 it feels so useless to even try to use during a boss because you die so fast that it's never really useful at all.

it doesn't give you extra revives but it gives you full use of your current revives as it doesn't add the black streak.

It is amazing how many people don't read the tutorials. The game tells you the first time you revive that you can't do it again without killing enemies (the only thing it doesn't mention is that deathblowing bosses also works, but that at least is pretty easy to figure out when it happens).

That has been mentioned in this thread before. What's your point?
