You can certainly learn the fight and do it right now just fine but also you can go a bit further in the other path and have the chance to come back a little stronger.

ogre is easier

Are you trying to fight him head on? Like Efesell said you could proceed in the other path, come back a bit stronger
Or you can stealth kill the mobs that juzo has, loose aggro and deathblow him before asking the samurai to help. The fight isnt too hard if you dont try to fight him directly just like so

I beat him before the chained ogre. The trick is to handle that mob ASAP so you have more open space to deal with him.

Stealth kill the guys on the left side of the map, the continue on the path of the covered walkway, that will put you next to the boss and right behind a shield guy, stealth kill him then run out a ways and try to take out that archer on the far left (or far right if you're facing the boss). After that it's a matter of maintaining your distance and killing the remaining mobs, all of which should run to you faster than the drunkard.

Once you're done with the mobs, fight the drunkard and maybe take down an orb of his health if you're good at dodging/parrying. You can engage the NPC near the rocks in the water at the center of the map and he will fight with you. It should be a breeze if you already have an orb of his health down, but you can bring him in any time.
ill try the stealth approach but jesus christ this game is so hard for me i dont know why ive played ALOT of souls games i thought that would help a little lmao

i did it the way you are doing it now, its early on and i had some trouble with him too, the way i did it was i stealth killed most of the mob then ran back and asked the samurai for help and while he was attacking juzo i just kept hitting him in the back. It wasnt that bad you can do it just practice deflecting

Some of the later fights are a lot tougher than these fights but still the challenge/difficulty scale and learning curve of the game all come before those fights.

To get through the game straight up without just trying to over level everything, you have to learn a lot about deflection, counter, and when attacks can hit. Some of the stuff after these fights make you learn more, but most of the game is all about proper deflection and counter.

Considering that you don't ever really level normally anyway, you have to learn all that stuff or find a method to cheese the bosses.

You might also use some of your additional items and shinobi tools that you might have. Oil and fire work nice, and the handful of ash does work on him.

also i think i ran into the same problem as you, dont play it like a souls game or you will do poorly, focus on deflecting and counters

Almost forgot you might be able to cheese an orb from him. Do everything I outlined, but when it's just the drunkard run all the way back to the statue so he looses agro, just make sure NOT to engage the NPC otherwise I think the fight will continue without you. Once you completely lose aggro, move QUICKLY back to the fight area and the drunkard should be walking back to his post, sneak up behind him for a stealth kill and a cheese on 1 orb.
You can beat the first boss in Ashina and get an attack upgrade first (+ a vitality upgrade if you beat a couple more mini-bosses). But tbh what you should be doing is just kill all the ads first then talk to the npc to get assistance during the fight.

Tips for The Drunkard.

1. Kill All his Minions.
2. Wait for him to Drink or puke on his Blade for free hits.
3. There is a guy in the water near the fight who will help you.
4. You shouldn't be in his face back away and take your time dashing in for chip damage.

Jokes on you, this guy is just a mini-boss and this ain't the last you'll see of him.

Therefore i strongly suggest against cheesing him. You'll only hurt yourself later.
