I will raise the topic, I also can not understand. I use the ball of resurrection before the boss battle, during the boss battle, before the first resurrection, after the first resurrection. Nothing happens.

Are you talking about the Bundled Jizo Statue item? If you're missing one of your nodes of resurrection power, it'll restore it. Also if you're currently blocked from reviving because you revived recently, it'll clear that as well.

If you mean the balloon of soul, I believe it only increases how quickly you refill that spare resurrection sphere.

The ball just boosts resurrection recovery. The more people you kill the faster your resurection recharges, the ball is just a boost that reduces the amount of people you need to kill.

I mean this item: Mibu Balloon of Soul. In my localization, this is called the Resurrection Ball, so I thought that when I used it, I would restore my spent resurrection. If the boss killed me, I was resurrected and he killed me again, then I can rise again using Bundled Jizo Statue?

Mibu Balloon of Soul:
"Acquire more Resurrective Power for a time."
"Ressurective Power" is the charge you get for defeating enemies, which fills the second/third resurection bubble. Since your first resurection is always powered by the Idol, you have to revive twice in one run to use up one of these bubbles, and you have to kill enemies (or use certain items) to refill them. Thus, this balloon increases how much of the bubble is filled when you kill enemies.
Bundled Jizo Statue:
"Restores a node of Resurrective Power and also unlocks the resurrect ability if it happens to be locked."
This fills an entire bubble instantly. In addition, while you normally can't revive twice in a row in this game without resting or getting a deathblow (at least on bosses, for regular enemies I think it is several kills to unlock it again), this item unlocks a revive so you don't need to do a deathblow to do it again. Since it also fills a bubble, it gurantees you will be able to revive again if you die.

Thanks, now I understand how it works.
