Do you have multiple input devices?

The game kept latching on to my HOTAS, I have to disconnect them to play.

have you tried the following:

Step 1: Launch Steam.
Step 2: Activate Big Picture Mode
Step 3: Go to Library
Step 4: Select Sekiro
Step 5: Select Manage Game
Step 6: Select Controller Configuration
Step 7: Select Browse Configs at the bottom of the screen.
Step 8: Select the Community options tab, then pick "Sekiro DS4 Pad".
Step 9: Save your setup.
edit: also make sure ps4 controller support is enabled in controller options from within big picture

I did all the steps, and still the same. I can move the camera and turn around with the character but still can't move (walk). I don't understand. I reinstalled a few times, I put on a different ssd/hard drive. Still nothing, so frustrating.

Thanks anyway!

the only thing i could think of is taking off the keyboard and mouse from your pc and only making sure the controller is plugged in and if that dosnet work then i have no idea how this could be fixed

I did that too. Sadly I have no idea what is the problem at all. It would be easier if the game won't start at all. But the game runs fine, "just" this move thing.

Yeah, it is...and I don't know what else I can do. My controller works perfectly every other games and works here too, cause I can turn around etc, "only" I can't move. Sadly I can't play Sekiro at all...I hope it will come some patch or something and it will fix this weird thing :(

Yes, that was one of the first things I tried

Yeah, this is happening to me as well. Can't even press ESCAPE to turn off the game, right? Need to press CTRL + TAB and turn it off that way?

Have you tried removing all USB devices, even if they’re not input devices. Just in case the game somehow mistakes one for an input device.

Yes, it won't react to ESC as well...so you have the same problem. Do you know any fix?

Yes, I pulled them off from the PC, but still te same problem. I tried a few controllers too, and another mouse/keyboard combo too. Nothing :(

So did you manage to figure out a solution for this? I'm stuck with the same issue.
