Frustation about constantly losing xp and money

I think the game has some serious issues with not recoverable xp and money:

xp: unlike souls, you can not use them unless the xp bar is full, which in reality results in often losing xp till the bar is empty. There are often not enough enemies between tough parts of the game, which will empty your xp bar very fast.

money: as with the xp, the same goes for money. because you are losing all the time money if you die, without any possibility to recover it, you often have no money at all. Furthermore, there is no way to use it before losing it again, if you dont want to always travel back to the main hub. Here is the next problem: if you do not have enough money to buy the next upgrade you can not use any of your money and you will lose it by progressing the game.

I think these mechanics are no well balanced or well thought-out. What do you think?

I’m not a big fan but it’s not an issue. If I am close to a skill point I will kill trash mobs until I get it and then the loss isn’t an issue. With money there aren’t npcs that sell gold pouches - you do t lose them ondesth so it is a good investment.

xp, if you are near the end of the bar just farm some xp before going in a tough area
money, spend it on gold bags at merchants so you dont lose it, while you will run out of money bags to buy you can have a safe reserve

to be entirely fair there's only like six things that cost meaningful amounts of money and all of them are optional.

does suck if you're saving up to Sen Toss a boss to death, though.

What you do is farm money and buy money bags to stow them away. And play safe until you find more merchants and buy out their inventory so you don't lose everything.

haul ass back to the last idol whenever you have your first death. If you come up to a boss area buy everything you want to buy beforehand
