Input Signal out of Range Error
When I launch Sekiro, I get the black screen with the white box in the center stating "Input Signal out of Range", followed by 1600x900 - 60 hz.

These are my monitors specs (1600x900 resolution at 60 hz.) Now I've had this error before in different games, and the solution was to go to the file location and edit a text file with resolution settings. Now Sekiro doesn't have this file in the steamapps directory nor the documents directory.
I downloaded the GeForce experience which automatically adjusts games outside of launching them, Sekiro included. However the application states that I need to access the settings at least once in order to enable this feature, which I cannot do because of the error.

Looking online, I saw no other solutions, which may be because this game is relatively new. The troubleshooting guide doesn't have anything pertaining to this either. Hopefully someone has solved this problem already.

Sorry for necro. I want to share the fix I did.

If you get a "no signal" error due to a wrong resolution of Sekiro, you can press Alt+Enter to enter into a Windowed mode of the game. Now you are able to see the actual game but in Windowed, so go to the Settings and change the game from Windowed to Fullscreen (this will take you back to that "no signal" error) but now you should press your "right" button on your input device to blindly select the option "Keep" (because the game will ask you if you want to revert to your previous settings).

Now press "down" or whatever button your input device has to select the Resolution setting. The Resolution setting is just below Screen Mode setting so it means you only have to press "down" once to select it.

(Take note that you are doing all these without any visuals because you aren't receiving signals from the game after all)

While on the resolution settings, keep pressing "up" to select a resolution you know your display supports then press your select button. You will then be asked if you want to keep the current settings, so again press "right" to select on "Keep". After doing all these blindly, you can now congratulate yourself for fixing a problem you can't see.

Didn't help me I guess I have to work with the mod after all. Which needs much more work than just blindly seeing.
