it's more or less required to max the prosthetic, as I don't think there's enough Lapis to actually get all the lazurite upgrades in a single playthrough.
it has an dmg effect yes.
that way u can kinda enable a hardmode. use that and the belldemon to get a rough experience.

i think you can ring a bell and give kuro is charm in ng+ back and make the game way harder with it
I played through the entire NG1 with the bell, and I didn't notice any increase in difficulty.
You can actually give him his charm back even in the base NG, you just need to finish game once for it to appear.
That I sadly found not to be true.
The initial mobs were pretty high XP, in NG+1 they were at 300 xp per kill.
However, the XP you get additionally seems to be fixed.
Dragon Nobles in Core gave 650 xp. In NG+ the give 850.
It seems that NG+ only adds a strict XP bonus of 200 to all mobs, except boss battles.
I was hoping for something more along the lines of an XP boost of 50% to 100% because you need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of XP for new skillpoints.
This cant be true or it would just be a new game. When an IP adds a + that means additions are included hense the plus symbol...
Not really. Many games use NG+ as simply a "go again with all unlocks" button.
First DS only changed the difficulty
Second added new enemies and items
Third I think but not sure only adds new items
Sekiro only gives you more XP and money. Difficulty stays the same.
Minibosses can nearly oneshot you with some attacks even when you have max hp.
That's true for base NG too.
