Hey there, sorry to hear that happened to you, but it does sound like it was a lost save due to the game crashing. I'm afraid there isn't anyway to restore that save though if you didn't have cloud based back-ups enabled. Please make sure you enable that by right clicking on the game in your library, going to Properties, Updates, and Steam Cloud on the bottom. You can also manually back-up your saves.
Anyways, I know that doesn't help for the save you already lost, but I hope it helps in the future if you run into anything similar after experiencing a crash.
Why is it not possible to make several manual saves in the game?
Thanks for the quick reply. You still got that error and corrupted save despite having cloud saving enabled? So sorry to hear that. I'm reaching out to see if there is anything that can be done, even if it is to just get your information and report it up, but do you happen to have a screenshot showing that corrupted save error message?
