cant assign items to quick items menu
I think on the controller you press left and right on the D pad to use quick items. The thing is my character just cycles a whole bunch of nothing. Is this a known bug?

You first need to go into inventory screen and manually assign items to the empty quick-slots. Then d-pad l/r selects and up uses.
