Help Lady butterfly. illusions dispeling item

So after tens of battles so many that I can not count I'd managed to kill Lady butterfly once maybe 6 times but every time the illusions get me and the only way I know to repel them is to use that special item that is given to you by that NPC the first time battling her. This last time I took her first life with 3 health potions and even a revive left which was satisfying until I was slew by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ illusion minion things is there anyway to get another one of those dispelling items? I might suck at this game but I feel that if I had one I might actually be able to finally progress passed this boss.

Quite frankly the game is wrong pretending that those illusions need an item, it makes people nervous and you tend to ignore the reality that all you have to do is either Destroy Them or Sprint Around the Room until they leave.

Yeah you don't need snap seeds but they can be helpful in a pinch. Check out this video and it will make her battle easier.

There's no place I could find (both in game and online) to buy more (which is incredibly poorly thought through on their part). When she summons them just run around the edge of the room until she desummons them and then stand right behind one of the pillars and block or keep running to cause the butterflys to miss.

I just ran around the room as soon as she summoned them and when she took them away I started attacking her again and broke her posture before she could summon em again.

I agree with this. The NPC in front of the boss goes on about how you NEED the snap seed but in reality you don't need it. This wasn't well thought out imo

yeh most items in this game are not needed. just run around the spirits vanish after like 10-15 secends lol

Yeah I mean the item is helpful and it's nice to give you one but that dude is going on like its a hard wall of if you don't have this don't bother.

And From has done things like that genuinely before so it's a little iffy.

If you catch her as she lands (after the first deathblow) and keep attacking/guarding, you can prevent her from creating the illusions completely. This is a lot easier if you have upgraded your attack power so her posture weakens faster.

Alternatively, when the illusions spawn, run a circle around the boss area until she dispels them and then keep running to dodge the golden butterflies.

there's another batch of items in the snake valley, though you'll want to deal with the snake first.

failing that, as the Hirata Estate is an entirely optional area, you can progress the plot far enough to just buy them if you're -really- having problems.

at which point you really shouldn't need them to stomp her into a fine paste but hey.

Thanks for the swift response guys I'll just keep trudging through it. It's quaintly pleasant throughout all this despite the hardship. Eventually I'll beat her she shall know her end lol.

You know when you fight that Whitesnake the first time when you go into the Hut and stabbed the snake eye? well near that hut off on the edge of a cliff there's a plant with more of those snapseed's five of them on that plant
