Where to go after mortal blade?

I'm lost again lol. I usually don't get lost playing Dark Souls games but I have been lost on what to do with this game a few times. I have the mortal blade and killed the Guardian Ape. I have no idea where to go now though.

Yeah I know I have to get to the start area but idk where it is.
