What's a camera auto-center? You need to be more specific.

Look up or down and start running, camera auto center itself without you doing anything. Also on keyboard and mouse, if you hold W and A and look right, camera goes to the left by itself until it hits the center.

+1

Yeah I wish this was possible. I've never actually intentionally used the auto center. It just messes me up when I try to lock on to an enemy behind me.

Posted this in another thread, there is a way to disable it, but you need to use cheat engine to do it for now.

You can get the table which has the script to disable it here : http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8938

Look for the disable cam auto-adjust option.

That's the entire point of 3rd person games.

Is using this not against the TOS? Is there a chance of getting banned? I'd really like to play with the mouse without the auto center crap.

No it is not against the TOS as the game is single player and no connection to the internet is required, it would be different if you were to play multiplayer in say Dark Souls, then yes it would be against the TOS, but in Sekiro it isn't.

Yes +1, please disable camera auto-centre

Why did the devs not already include such an option in a 2019 AAA game! Are they nutz?

I completely completely agree. Actually most console exports have this option; I'm surprised Sekiro doesn't. Makes playing it feel really awkward.

I agree 100% on this! it's a great game and the auto center completely ruins it for me! it's unplayable. it also messes up really bad people who get motion sickness easily! i really don't understand why isn't there an option for free camera...

Necrobump, but I just bought the game to play on Linux using Proton, and this camera behaviour is bothering me quite a bit while playing with keyboard and mouse. A game patch to fix this would be immensely appreciated! I would rather avoid using Cheat Engine as suggested above; I've been penalized for using PvP Watchdog on Dark Souls 3 (in an attempt to prevent interaction with cheaters, the irony), and it took a long time to get that lifted; I want to keep a clean slate. Perhaps it's safe to apply *only* this fix?
