I think it isn't a silly reason to refund, cause some people simply don't enjoy getting stuck for multiple hours on one enemy.
Especialy since From Software has to push the limits of each game.
All these f*cking YouTube channels after every new FS release: "IS IT HARDER THAN DARK SOULS?!?" and "IS IT THE HARDEST GAME EVER MADE?!?".
And From Software just feeds these morons with difficulty without adding any rewarding gameplay.
Also, back in the day (Battletoads, Ghosts n Goblins), people had way less games they could play.
It was so good getting stuck in a game, so the ride won't end too soon.
But now, new and really good games are everywhere.
I have a huge backlog of titles I still need to play or just beat, but a day sadly only has 24 hours.
So if I get stuck for multiple hours on one part, my time feels hugely wasted, since I could play a game that doesn't frustrate me.
Too hard isn't a set in stone end all be all objective definition, it is a personal subjective one.
Imagine playing "Dark Souls".
Imagine using only your fists.
Sounds nice as a challenge run if you are a Dark Souls crack who wanna test out a few things and if they are possible.
Now imagine this would be the only possible way to play the game, and this would be sold to the masses.
This would be WAY to hard and it would be a bad thing.
And yeah, sure, it's possible and you can "git gud" to beat the game this way... but it isn't in any way or shape fun to play.
Especialy since this is absolutely the only way to play the game, and nobody experienced the game with weapons.
This is soo spot on, games like sekiro have no place in the future, the rise in competition for your attention and rewarding cinematic experiences are what really get peoples attention, see: dmc 5, resident evil 2, ECT ECT
Let this game be an ugly historical footnote, unworthy of respect. A game praised by people with no livelyhoods, incels, neckbeards, and other garbage the public at large dislikes.
Neither is resulting to personal insults which as we all know is the last line of the defeated.
So now behind your keyboard you are resorting to personal threats. Great.
The story isn't even interesting enough to compel us forward
