You guys give up really easily. it's about the rythm, learn the patterns, understand the good openings to unleash your attacks, some are good, some are more risky.
With every boss in this game is always the same, you need to attack and parry to break the poise of the enemy asap.
You need to be patient with lady butterfly. Btw, she is 100% optional so you could progress to later parts of the game and completely annihilate her if you hate her enough. I struggled quite a bit personally - I had 5 gourd uses, 1 attack upgrade, and 2 vit upgrades. For the first phase you can generally punish her when she tries to do overhead stuff like the grab and leaping kick. Phase 2 the illusion thing is honestly kind of a joke - you can literally just run around the edge of the arena in circles and the summoned enemies or resulting projectiles can't really do anything to you.
as for the lady without the items: just run in circles untill the mobs disappear and all the butterflies landed, nothing should hit you.
and the red symbols are the same to indicate "unblockable incoming" but the telegraphing still is vastly different.
not saying you can't get mad or salty though. had some issues with bosses so far as well. best tip from me would be to step away a bit, do something else and take some deep breaths and focus on a new attempt
You don't really need snap seed. It's convenient for speeding up the fight but you can pretty much negate the illusions but running on the outside of the arena until they despawn (illusion mobs not killed will spawn projectiles though, so only re-engaged when those are gone)
