Sunken Valley Great Serpent help!

While exploring the Sunken Valley I found a cave and I think it's the Great Serpents lair. After navigating to the end there is a house but the snake blocks the path to it. If I show myself she hits me and there is no way past her from what I#ve seen.

I'm not talking about the first encounter on your way to the castle. I'm talking about the third one in her own lair.

Oh.. i actually haven't done that but right after the first encounter theres a dude guarding or dropping an item related to the giant serpent next to the idol that said something about marriage, not sure if you picked that up but that may be a hint

It said you need to make an offering of Snap Seeds when you get to her house.

this is quite spoilerish but i assume your talking about the snake in the caves.
to get to the house you need to: go to the side of the snake and there should be a monkey crying equip the puppet ability and backstab him he should distract the snake letting you into the house

You can tank the hit if you don't have the possession ability. You'll have to grapple up from the path to the side with the monkey and move quickly to the right so the hit doesn't knock you off into the pit. then quickly run into the temple.

Another option is to use the Mist Raven prosthetic once you grapple up so you avoid the attack and teleport behind it.

run to the right side before he attacks you and then run along with the head as it retreats from the strike, that's how i cheesed it.

Finish the folding monkey screen boss battle. This will give you a ninjutsu. Then head over to the little monkey down below (next to the serpent) and use said ninjutsu.

Their are 3 methods to get by.

#1 Puppet Ninjutsu: Use the left passage way to find a monkey below, it is surrounded by charms to give you enough to use the Puppet Ninjutsu on it to create a distraction for you to get by.

#2 Resurrection: Stay near the pillar and slowly walk towards the snake until the red kanji appears, then run back towards the pillar but not actually touching it or else the snake will clip you. When its retreating its head, run straight at it as fast as you can, you'll most likely take a death here. If you do die, burn a resurrect and run through.

#3 Mist Raven: You can use the mist raven ninja tool to avoid damage from the snake attack and run pass. You may need to use two mist raven to get by, it can also be paired with the Resurrection method.

When it breaks the bridge but that's the one that you stabbed its eye, the one in the underground lair is a different snake.
