DS4 Controller Problems with DS4 driver

are there still ppl who cant get sekiro to run properly with their ds4 controllers?

i cant too, im trying to solve it but no solution

All I had to do was turn off the Gyro sensors to control the mouse and it fine. I'm not using any additional programs either.

tried to do that and hdie the ds4 windows driver and all it did is changing the mode so that it wasnt "exclusive" anymore.

Are you using steams native support or third party programs like scptoolkit or ds4windows?

bruh, try this: (worked for me of course)

1. get rid of "DS4 Windows"
2. get "input mapper 1.6.10": https://inputmapper.com/downloads/inputmapper-1-5/category/2-input-mapper -> install *duh :D

3. get "InputMapper HidGuardian": https://inputmapper.com/downloads/download/5-tools/76-inputmapper-hidguardian -> many programs try to interfere with the DS4 and this is part of the solution to get rid of this

4. follow these steps: https://inputmapper.com/forum/general-chit-chat/754-found-a-correct-way-to-fix-exclusive-mode-on-windows-10-fall-creators-for-ds4 -> looks a bit tricky but you can do it!
this step make 100% sure your ds4 controller will be used "exclusivly" by games"

try it and tell me if it worked for you too! hope it will!

I'd recommend scptoolkit over inputmapper tbh. Or when it's just for steam, use the native support.

Hey, just sayin' that having tried all these sorts of programs with my ds4, scp and steams native support are the ones that work best in my experience.

i did it all but on step 4, on that page i dont really know what to do on step 9 about pasting the 3 strings

bruh, i didnt try to aggro of some sort but when it works for me now and i know now how to do it, i will not go off and try what you said, just because you came randomly in this thread to tell us what is better =)

FROM fixed this, DS4 should just be plug and play now so if you were using a community template just go back to the default one in steam input settings for Sekiro. Also there's a DS4 button prompts mod on Nexus now.

Did they fix ALL controller issues? I use steam controller and it didnt work in sekiro so i refunded the game. If they fixed the controller issue i will buy the game.

WORD! in all dark souls games its plug and play but here you have to take care of some sort of exclusivity mode (DS4 controller)

Dunno about steam controller, it's a terrible input device and one i'll never purchase.
