any fix for the fps drops?
mine still drops from 60 to 49-45 in some areas, its so annoying when i looks somewhere and then just a slow down drop to 45 fps. i tried everything :/, lowering the settings does nothing. still drops to 49 on even low.

my spec GPU gtx 1070, CPU i5-3570k overclocked to 4.5GHZ, ram 16gb, installed on a HDD, but other games work amazing on this HDD, so i dont think its the HDD.

If you don't know how to check this out, CPUID HWMonitor is a neat program to use

It can be due to the overclocking
yea i think its the cpu overclock, ill try after i deafet lady ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, at least i get 60fps at boss fights lol

I think the problem is in the game itself. I saw this game has frame pacing problem on consoles. Ps4 pro only can run this at 42fps while xbox one s 30fps. Pc can run this 60 but not constant, sometimes you can see that you at 60 but the camera movement feels like 30 fps.

Lower your resolution and use sharpening from reshade. Better fps and looks better than 1080p original.

I dunno if they gonna release a patch or not but i feel this game not ready to be released. Crap performance on all platform

There is no fix, From have always been know for being very poor on the technical side of things.
I'm dropping from 60 to 45-40 randomly while GPU and CPU hover at about 65-80% and 30-40% respectively (1080ti and i5 8600k) its not a hardware problem, its just the game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess.

Yup, hope they release a patch soon.

Oh boy, i5 3570K here too. And only 4.2Ghz after BIOS update to counter Meltdown and (something else) invulnerability. Guess I'll risk it and go back to the previous BIOS.

yea the 900s people are not having probelms, people say its working perfect on gtx 970.

Same here. The game drops from 60 to 50-45 without any reason, with CPU usage on 25% and GPU 60-70%.

My specs are:

AMD Threadripper 1920X
Sapphire Vega 64.
32 GB RAM.

Had the same problem, but after I went into the Task-Manager and set the priority of the sekiro.exe to ‚Real Time‘ my fps issues were gone.

i7 8700
GTX 1070
16GB RAM
On SSD

MY game freezes at random times and only way to stop it is through task manager. Have GTX 980.

checked temps, GPU and CPU all running at 70 degrees. CPU barely passes 40% load.

i can't play at all but the system requierements are way lower than i have. so i don't know why it doesn't work.

For anyone else experiencing sudden massive FPS drops for no reason.

Open Device manager
Expand the "Software Devices" section
Right click on "Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator"
Select "Disable"
Click ok.
