bloodborne is far better

This is a culmination of everything they have learned over the years, this is far better than bloodborne and dark souls so far, people saying otherwise are swimming in nostalgia.

I greatly prefer this, but it's a matter of preference I suppose.

Edit: To clarify, Bloodborne has a wider variety of player weapons and such, but this game is more difficult and the core combat is more engaging due to some really well done mechanics.

This is way more different than bloodborne. If youre looking for a challenge and something to really test your reflexes and approaches, then i'd highly recommend this. I found bloodborne to be wayyyy easier.

Bloodborne. Sekiro doesn't even come close.

Bloodborne mostly due to its style and the fact I can gain health from attacking after taking damage and can't forget them cool ass trick weapons

This. Much nicer setting/ambience. Very fluid combat system. Nice pacing and story (so far).

Matter of preference. If you want a game with a highly customizable playstyle and a lovecraftian setting, go Bloodborne. If you want the harder experience with more fluid gameplay and actual aerial mechanics, go Sekiro.

if you want a game that runs above a 15fps average, then get this. bloodborne might be a good game, but its a nightmare on the technical side.

The games are really different. Sekiro is more like a stealth game than the Soulsborne games before it. I think it's more fair to say Bloodborne and Sekiro both have great and terrible things going for them for their own reasons.

This so far, bloodeborne has a lot of problems people refuse to bring up. Like its terrible healing mechanics, lack of any weapon variety because once you get down to it every single BB weapons plays exactly the same, and frankly I found BB to be easy beat it only dying a total of 6 times because it plays like dark souls with no shield and a dex weapon which I already do. People get caught up in BB ambience and its setting which are stellar but strip it away and its honestly my least favorite from soft game from a gameplay perspective.

Sekiro finally mixes things up, the combat is the best from soft has ever done, the lv design is when it comes to actually enemies and combat is engaging, its not about lure 1 enemy kill it repeat. Plus I'm a sucker for whole feudal Japan setting.
