Camera Auto Rotates on Sideways Movement help

When you moved sideways with the A and D key, the camera auto rotates and that is very odd for a keyboard and mouse setup. So for example, should I move to the left and my mouse moves slightly to the right because I wanted to pan it to the right, instead it balances out and the camera angle stood still. As of this moment, I'm hating this feature very much.

If someone managed to figure out how to disable this, I'd enjoy the experience by a lot more I'm sure.

I understand this feature make sense for a controller setup but it definitely isn't for mouse-to-aim setup.

Having the same issue. Clearly a feature meant for controllers to help move more easily using only one thumb or faster using both sticks, has no place in the keyboard and mouse control scheme.
I hope we get an option to turn it off soon.

it is an issue even with a controller and no fix is known.

Having same issue, the automatic "let me help you" camera movement is actually achieving opposite effect, it is distracting. Also the swiveling when going up/down stairs is nauseating.

I haven't played this game ever since it came out, gave up because of terrible controls and enemy telegraphs being super arbitrary.
Are you seriously saying there's still no option to turn the stupid camera auto rotation off?

there is. I'm gonna get bashed for this. but one of the cheat engine tables have this auto rotation toggle feature. you're gonna need to run CE while u're playing. and that's all i'm gonna say about it.

not gonna recommend anything else or where you would normally find tables. because people get salty when i mention it. but for single player games i enjoy em.

Sorry but I mean an option into the game itself. I shouldn't need to install third party mods just to make the basic - and I mean most basic of - controls usable on pc.
