Can the switch controller work?

Steam's support isn't doing♥♥♥♥♥♥for it, anyone got this thing working?
It is being detected via bluetooth, on big picture mode through steam, but Sekiro doesn't seem to care. Wired doesn't work either.

I'm using a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller for this game. Works fine.

I just connected my ps4 controller with bluetooth as well. It doesn't work either. Same situation. Maybe i absolutely have to use ds4windows or i've got some ♥♥♥♥ to fix

I went into controller options and selected "Force On" relaunched the game and the ps4 controller is working. Expecting switch too as well

I've found that no controllers work consistently or at all (tried Xbox, Xbox one, PS4, Wii u, switch pro). And the ultimate fix for me was to uninstall GeForce experience. Something to do with Shadowplay was possibly interfering with steam settings. Now it works fine!

@Julian from you logs it looks like Steam Input is seeing the game properly and applying a configuration - can you check that there isn't any other overlays hooking the game? A number of users have said that disabling the Nvidia in-game overlay fixed their controller issues.

Yeah I disabled the Nvidia overlay, but that didn't fix anything, then I saw MCSW712's post and I uninstalled GeForce Experience like he suggested but it seems Sekiro still doesn't read inputs from my switch pro controller.
