Here is a verryyyy simplified example:
There are 2 opponents (usually 10 but 2 for simplicity). Swordsman at the front and an archer at the back.
You locked on to the swordsman and swing, but suddenly, due to little mouse movement, your char decides to turn 180 degree to archer who is miles away and swings into air.
Archer shoots you in the face, swordsman stabs you in the a.., and you are dead.
This is not game mechanics, it is poor lazy controller management.
