If I was a developer and I read this, I would want to intentually not "fix" this. These braindead comments are why so many developers don't take player feedback seriously.

Dark Souls 1 released in 2009. 10 years has passed, and the most common problem was this control issue. It was so common that, if you search dark souls in google, you would see Dsfix in first 10 search results. The community had to fix it, and it became a must. If you are a developer, who makes the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mistake, which was forgivable 10 years ago but not now, and cannot take the criticisms maybe you should stop developing games althogether.

The lock-on system is fine, what're you talking about? Just stop flicking your mouse around like a maniac while you fight...

And here is the fix that I am mentioning: Assign keybindings (keyboard and mouse) to locked on target change. That's it !!!! The default would be mouse movement, all we would do is to assign a keyboard button to target change, and unbound the mouse bindings.

For those of you, who use controller and doesn't get the problem.
Here is a verryyyy simplified example:
There are 2 opponents (usually 10 but 2 for simplicity). Swordsman at the front and an archer at the back.
You locked on to the swordsman and swing, but suddenly, due to little mouse movement, your char decides to turn 180 degree to archer who is miles away and swings into air.
Archer shoots you in the face, swordsman stabs you in the a.., and you are dead.

This is not game mechanics, it is poor lazy controller management.

I haven't bothered to check because I am using a controller, I assume you have checked but maybe not. Most everything can be rebinded in this game, I rebinded my attacks for example. Are you sure a rebind is not available in the settings?

Yes man I am sure. I played dark souls 3 more than 1500 hrs, still playing it and I rebinded every button there. In this game I tried to do the same, but there is no rebind for target lock change. The funny thing is, it exists in every similar game, like witcher, skyrim etc.
