CANT PICKUP COINS ?

ummm so i cant seem to get the coins ? its like bugged out , i see them but i just cant seem to pick them up and it says 0 ! guys help please, kappa gg ff@20

hold the pickup button and you will cause a weird wind ball around you that sucks them up.

i have a ps4 controller do you think its more playable on controller ? i play games like destiny 2 with controller but idk about a game like this , lmk what you think about controller on sekiro vs key and mouse

You would hope controller would be better due to the omnidirectional nature of the sticks for movement and minimal need for aim. Destiny 2 with controller but not a Souls game LUL

I like it better on controller. The game doesn't have button prompts for the DS4 though so you would see xbox buttons and have to sort of go off memory. If you can do that go for it.

I'd at least try it out, these games have always been better on controllers to me. They're getting better with kb/m but idk, personal preference and all.

Controllers always best for Souls games. You want that really precise 360* for movement and all buttons for gadgets and items and movements in quick reach. I hear m&kb is a pretty usable options in DS3 and Sekiro but 8 directional movement and all the keys for everything doesn't seem to me like it will have a very likable control scheme. Likely end up having to fish for buttons in the middle of combat and give up or die.

Also pressing actions on keyboard require you to take fingers off your movement keys. Controller you can move at all times and with Lock on have your fingers on the jump and dash buttons at all times.

Honestly this is the most mechanically demanding and well rounded game they have made yet. You will use every mechanic in each mini boss and boss fight. All fingers on board, don't forget or fail to use anything. And with a controller every button is directly in contact, no fishing needed. That's my most hated part of trying to play fps games on pc. Always end up having to try and find the Control or the G or the V key to do things and my fingers have never built up the proper muscle memory to reach out across the void to find them. And once again, fingers off movement to be able to hit them...the mouse is great for aiming but damn I understand the advantages of controllers.

I better know XBox buttons despite having DS4 v2 because there are only few games with native support DS4 and 90% or more are designed for XBox buttons... But after few years it is really no problem! As sometimes I can even write not looking on keyboard...
