FIX FOR CONTROLLER ISSUES!!!

So I was trying to use my Switch Pro controller, as I do with all of my games, and I noticed right off the bat that things were wrong. Gyro mouse controls, right stick was functioning as mouse movement instead of analog, game not responding to control changes in options, etc. I found a fix that worked in my case, and will hopefully help others out having issues with other controllers as well..

(EDIT: May not resolve issues on Xbox One S controllers.)

In Big Picture:

1. Open the "guide" menu
2. Controller Configuration
3. Choose "Browse Configs"
4. Choose "Templates"
5. There should be one called "Gamepad" choose it.
6. Apply Configuration.

This should fix most if not all issues. It worked for me, and hopefully it'll work for others. Happy Gaming!

Not sure if this will help with your issue, but on first launch I couldn't get my xbox one controller working. I went into big picture mode, Sekiro in my library, controller config for the game (changed nothing), went back to the library and launched the game. It recognized it and then I exited the game, exited big picture mode, and relaunched Sekiro and it still recognized the controller.

I think of what I did, launching the game from big picture mode is what kicked it in the ass on detecting my controller, but put all steps in case it was something else.

I have so far booted the game 15 times, 8 in normal steam library, the rest in big picture.Controller will not work no matter what
