"Failed to load save data"

Does anyone else have the "Failed to load save data" issue?
It cannot create a save file, and I can't play :(


Edit: I don't know what caused it, but removing the save in Roaming folder, and turning the cloud saves off worked. I guess my save was corrupted, and steam wanted to keep loading my corrupted save.

Don't ask how it happened, cuz idk.

But it works at least. :D

did you just delete the save file or the whole sekiro folder? I played on a friends account and tried to load that save. now it won't open, tried deleting the whole folder and reinstalling it twice.

I suggest the whole folder. Save file only should be fine usually though. Also don't forget to turn off cloud saves!

This is what keeps loading the corrupted file.


So first right click sekiro, and find the cloud save option. Uncheck this box.

Remove the save file or folder.

Start the game.
