How good are PC controls?
And I mean MKB, of course. What do you think? Are they as good as DS3? Can you change them?

is quite good, but the camera tracking is crap.

the camera wants to look around and run again and again behind the character drive and that's ♥♥♥♥ with the mouse control.

Imo, I think that the PC controls are pretty good; I changed a couple of the controls to match dark souls 3 controls and I assigned the shinobi grapple hook and tool to my extra mouse buttons. You may have to change the key bindings to suit your tastes like I did (changed lock on to 'Q' and sneak to 'CTRL', also made it so I can use my scroll wheel to cycle through items and middle mouse button to change the tool I am using) but for the most part I think it's more comfortable to me than using a controller. Just know V is to eavesdrop.

Oh and the spacebar is now jump while the shift is now run/dodge.

*Edit*
I am still kinda saddened at the lack of KB/M button prompts but if you got used to it in DS 3 you can get used to it here.

It does have KB/M button prompts. You have to change it in the "input device options" section of the options menu.

Ya there's kb/m prompts!

Controls were decent enough to me, I usually use a controller but I've tried them in every Souls' game. Seems to be the best yet.

Yeah, very few games do that correctly... it has always been a problem in the soulsborne series.

They sound pretty good! And it's great that you can change them. Thanks a lot for the info!

You right click at the correct moment, holding it down or pressing it at the wrong time results in a block.

Good enough for the most part.

But .. some bosses require certain tactics that are much easier to pull off with controller.

That could be vastly improved tho if FromSoft cared enough. ( Fat chance them reading these things and mouse / kb crowd being the absolute minority :( )

There are some problems with camera control and movement directions in certain situations.

I'd say it's 90% there, but those remaining 10% can really give you an extra hard time on certain bosses.

the controls are pretty good. Probably the first From Software game that has decent Pc controls. The only issues is the camera. It has an auto center which is important when you are using a controller but pretty much always interferes with you when you control the camera with the mouse. Also there is the typical FoW issues as with most console ports. Too bad since these could be easily fixable issues. Just add an FoW slider and a disible auto center and it would be decent for M/K.
